Notes: Born
into one of the Hives that dwells in the ocean depths, she was born
with traits that would make her a deadly deepsea hunter. Hives that
lurk in the waters have evolved to be better suited for surviving in
the depths, and have even gained misleading features that make them
appear like Merkanlos from afar. Which helps to draw their prey of
choice in, as the Merkanlos are surprisingly tasty to the palette of a
Graeph's tastebuds. The Merkanlos would be drawn in by the 'false'
illusion of another Merkanlos, and not realize it was something else
until they were too close to escape.
She's been hunting the tasty morsels since she was young, and has lived
in the waters long enough to accumulate some coral growths. She's also
attracted the presence of two deepsea ocean creatures that usually
prefer to follow only Merkanlos around. (She's tried to eat them a
couple of times, but they're rather tasteless.) One Merkanlos gave her
the fight of her life, even going so far as to deeply injure her skull
and tear away sections of bone/skin. As she's been evolved for the
water she previously had no need to see through smell, as the water was
obsorbed through her skin and she could see by feeling the shifts in
the water. But now, thanks to that vicious Merkanlos, she has a hole in
her upper skull that allows for her to see above water as well. Because
of this her curiosity drove her to the surface lands.
Her Birth Hive is one that's in shambles, as the Matriarch of the Hive
was killed long before she was even born, but the Hive members had
stayed in the deeps together. She's never been Claimed by a Horrorling.
